UC Davis settles women

UC Davis and plaintiffs Kelsey Brust, Jessicaw Bulala and Laura Ludwig settled the lawsuity that was filed twoyears ago, and was certified as a classz action in October. The settlement establishes a set of standarda for female participation rates in varsity sports at UC Davisx and provides additional financial support for club sports at the a newsrelease said. The settlement must be approved bythe U.S. Distric t Court in Sacramento after members of the clase have been notified of thespecificx terms. Brust and Bulala played club fiels hockey. Ludwig had wrestlinv experience and playedclub rugby. They broughtr suit in July 2007 under the 1972Patsuy T.
